In preparation for the extreme temperatures of the coming British summer we have replaced our vintage water tower with a state of the art ‘adiabatic’ air blast cooling system. This is part of a continuing program of investment in new process equipment and facilities. Our precision moulding techniques require accurate control of tool temperature which frequently means we need to heat and cool different parts of a tool at the same time. The new system is a closed loop which removes the risk of contamination and reduces water usage. This investment gives us more accurate control, improved capacity and it is more efficient so less electricity and less use of chemicals. So all round lean, mean and green. Now the sun can come out.
