Our Engineering Technician Kieran Thorne has managed to juggle the many competing demands on his time to study for his HNC in Engineering and Manufacturing Management at Bournemouth University. We were very impressed this week to hear that he has finished the course with an overall Merit. We are not planning to give him any time to rest on his laurels though and will be signing him up for a Lean Manufacturing Course straight away with the intention of getting to Six Sigma Black Belt over the coming months.
None of what we do is easy and to make sure we are continually improving Inoplas is pleased to support the development of our team’s already excellent skills with internal and external training. This year we have run, attended or scheduled training in Mechanical Engineering, Injection Moulding principles, CAD development, Team Leading, Lean Manufacturing, Finance, English (as a foreign language), Management Skills, Soldering and First Aid.
